There are days when your words cut me more than my knife. The burning, the stinging, is worth more than my life. That crimson liquid, how sweet it is as it flows through your system, rushing and whirling, giving you the oxygen you so badly need, but don't want. The rush of adrenaline that follows you as you see the scarlet drip from the cut you just made, it's overpowering. It's addictive. And most of all, it's yours.

I search and search for a faithful friend. All I see is a tunnel with no end. I find no need for light Or the will to fight. Why should I even try? I'll end up wanting to cry. Don't you see that I will not stop? I'll cut and cut, and I won't let it drop. The knife it calls me by my name. It truly is something I cannot tame.
